I founded Gallagher Custom Wine Cellars in 1992 because of my great love of wine and attention to its proper storage and presentation. We have worked hard to build our reputation as an elite custom design and installation house with both international clients and a strong base in the Greater Philadelphia.

Our goal is to build custom wine cellars worthy of fine wine collections. Each project receives my personal attention because I care almost as much about the safety of the wine as the owner does. We take into account numerous factors, including the size and use of the collection, the architecture of the home or business and the personal taste and habits of the owner.

Final use is an important design consideration. Most custom wine cellars are valued for enjoyment and entertaining as much as for safe, correct storage of the wine investment. We can make expert recommendations on how to design and implement special features that support wine tasting, cigar smoking and other "showpiece" activities to please the owner.

We have designed and built cellars from 125 to 4,500 bottles. We maintain redundant contractors and vendors for reliability. With three construction crews, two refrigeration companies and two different sources of wine racking systems on call, we can ensure timeliness and reliability for every project.

We create cellars with Wine Cellar Innovations' traditional style wooden racks in redwood, oak, cherry and mahogany, or with "Vintage View"TM metal racks. Our cellars incorporate one of three types of refrigeration systems (Whisperkool, split-system or Unico system) depending on budget and cooling needs. We can also customize our installations with cellar art, murals, frescoes, handpainted or sculpted tiles and stained or etched glass. Our cellars have served as both private and retail wine displays.

I would like to visit with you to personally demonstrate our portfolio and approach to creating great wine cellars for the connoisseur. Private tours of cellars that we have built can be arranged.
